KOSMIC MERCURY MY11 AND LYNX MY11 CHASSIS IN 2012
Kosmic is glad to announce that Mercury MY11 chassis is still going to be considered as its production’s peak model for next 2012 season, too.
High competitiveness gained by the Mercury MY11 as well as the many results obtained give us confidence in this winning chassis model, which will be employed in the most important International competitions.
Mercury MY11 chassis was introduced on last season (2010) and soon confirmed its best performances: speed, reliability and versatility.

The technical appraisal that Mercury MY11 is constantly receiving stimulates us in working with more and more enthusiasm, with the aim of taking our team partners and drivers up at the highest level.
Traditionally, OTK invests in the research and development and all his technical staff is studying and planning more and more developed and performing technical components.
Next to the Mercury MY11 once more we will find the Lynx MY11.

OTK M4 BODYWORK by OTK Kart Group


OTK is a trademark which identifies the kart components produced by OTK Kart Group. In fact a complete line of original parts, developed and tested on the race track, are guaranteed by their high quality and experience.  The OTK line, characterised by its unmistakable attention to detail and suitable for any type and kar
t trademark, OTK provides a wide range, from the axle group to the brake system, from b odyworks to magnesium accessories, leading on to super light and resistant carbon fiber parts.

The M4 bodywork set is undoubtedly one of the most interesting features within the accessories section homologated for the next three-year period.  The new bodywork is the result of long hours spent testing in the wind tunnel where it has been further optimized to get a better aerodynamic package, and to allow the engine, radiator and brake system to benefit by the air flow in the best way during racing.

Some items of the bodywork that have been renewed - the side pods are now thinner, the front spoiler is equipped with important appendages and a new rear protection bumper has been introduced which has been reduced in weight and dimension.

Kosmic Mercury MY11 (2011 - 2012)

The MERCURY MY11 is composed by a frame realized with Ø 30 mm tubes in molybdenum chrome steel, adjustable in height both front and rear. It is supplied with two torsion bars which allow to modify the rigidity of the chassis. The adjustment of camber and caster is easily changeable thanks to the incorporated uniball eccentric washers. The chassis is supplied with new one-piece bearing carrier supports and new steering column supports. The chassis has OTK M4 bodyworks, studied and tested in order to reduce the coefficient of aerodynamic resistance and it is equipped with stickers.

Racing is the version chosen for this model, at top of the range, and it is provided with magnesium OTK components. The brake system can be chosen among the BS5 - BS6 - BS7 according to the category in which is used.

Kosmic Lynx MY11 (2011 / 2012)

LYNX MY11 is composed by a frame realized with Ø 32 mm tubes in molybdenum chrome steel, adjustable in height both front and rear. Kosmic Nordix (2011 / 2012)

NORDIX is composed by a frame realized with Ø 28 mm tubes in molybdenum chrome steel with 1010 mm wheelbase, suitable for drivers from 12 to 14 years old. It is available in the Basic version with OTK components in machined aluminium. It is provided with eccentric washers which allow the adjustment of the camber and caster and with front bar which allows to modify the rigidity of the frame. It is supplied without footrest and equipped with OTK BS2 brake system, axle of Ø 30 mm and OTK M4 bodyworks complete with stickers.

Kosmic Rookie (availability: on order only) (2011 / 2012)
 

ROOKIE is composed by a frame realized with Ø 28 mm tubes in molybdenum chrome steel, homologated ACI/CSAI, with 950mm wheelbase. It is available in the Basic version with OTK components in machined aluminium. It is provided with eccentric washers which allow the adjustment of the camber and caster. It is equipped with OTK BSM brake system, rear plastic protection and homologated OTK M5 bodyworks complete with stickers. The aluminium foot-rest or the chromium-plated rudder pedals can be bought as an option; this allows to adjust the pedals to suit the position of drivers.
